FROM LANS TO
WANS:
An
example of a bid proposal, project management and installation project
that Mark Harwood directed. |
Shown is a test of a WAN that consisted of (6) LANS throughout the
city. Fifty new workstations were installed along with a variety of printers. The City Wide project exceeded $400,000. Mark Harwood submitted the detailed
bid, processed all of the product orders, managed the installation of the entire
project and processed all requests for payments. The "Proposal" was formatted in
such an manner that it flowed right into the "Schedule of Values" and then into
"Applications for Payment".
This WAN installation was part of a new $4,500,000 Justice Center
construction project that involved numerous different consultants, vendors
and project managers.
Exert from a letter
by The City that received the services...
“As the project got underway in the first
phase, we realized that of all the consultants, vendors and project managers we
were working with, your performance exceeded all of our expectations and
certainly proved your competence. The planning and execution of the contract was
innovative, timely and accurate. Your competitors began to pale in comparison”
